Sheikh is a Licenced Paralegal in Ontario. Sheikh earned his Bachelor’s (1989) and Master’s degree (1991) from York University, Toronto, and has a certificate in disability management from the National Institute of Disability Management & Research (NIDMAR).
With over 30 years of experience working with employers and businesses on matters related to workers’ compensation, human rights and health and safety, Sheikh’s advice has been invaluable to his clients. Among his accomplishments is the founding of Atworkcanada in 1999, and the development of atworkCare disability management software.
As part of the Strategy Legal team, Sheikh is focused on helping business manage their workers’ compensation cost exposure and risks in areas such as WSIB/WCB classification, transfer of costs, and appeal representation I(WSIB/WSIAT).
